DWG has a dedicated research team. The Research Team at DWG is responsible for finding the data and facts from the current publications, the archival preservation and generating the fact-finding reports. This involved the political activities of the different political parties in Bangladesh and the response to those activities by the political oppositions including the government party. It also counts of use of state forces for the ruling governing party to stop the political activities of the opposition parties.

The work also involves the preparation of human rights reports, collection of data regarding various human rights abuses throughout the year and writing and publication of various articles on human rights abuses for public knowledge. Our research team also cooperate with other international organisatons in exchanging the data and facts.
